Why forums of Visual Studio Team Foundation moved to archive RRS feed

  • Question

  • Currently except Application Insights, the other forums that were under Visual Studio Team Foundation Server, moved under Archived Forums. Seems that also Visual Studio Team Services forum moved to archived. Why ?

Where thus one can ask questions about the Team Foundation Server which is On Premise rather than Visual Studio Team Services which is in cloud ? Where for Visual Studio Team Services ?

    Thanks

  • Support for TFS is here, where you can ask questions:

    https://www.visualstudio.com/team-services/tfs-support/

But I have not yet found any forums.

    Edit: This the main page:

  • Thank u for your replies.

Didn't find any actual tfs forums under https://www.visualstudio.com/team-services/tfs-support/, and also it's not clear whether Micorosoft actually moved the previous tfs forums to stack overflow. Kindly note, msdn subscribers supposed to be entitles for some elevated reply SLA, which is best i know not the case in stack overflow though indeed stack overflow is a very known forums site.

Can someone please check with Microsoft TFS people and help provide us with an answer ? Thanx

  • You can check the announcement here for the official word on move to stackoverflow.

    https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/vstudio/en-US/home?forum=tfsgeneral

You're right about the priority support forums TFS was listed here.

    https://www.visualstudio.com/my/priority-forums-vse

I'd use the concierge chat link here to ask about that.

service level agreements? I don't know. I'd also ask that of MSDN subscription concierge.
