  • Question

  • I am building a computer for a client and purchased this copy of XP Pro OEM.  It came sealed in the same legitimate packaging that i always get these in.  The CD passes all of the checks in the how to tell section of the website.  And it came with a legitimate proof of license.  The diagnostic report is listed below.

  • From your MGA Report:

    Windows License Type: Retail

    Validation Status: Invalid Product Key

Unfortunately, you have a counterfeit copy of Windows XP installed.  It is not an OEM version. It is a counterfeit copy of a retail version.  Contact the seller and demand an immediate refund!

  • Hello, HiGear13

The key you are using is a Korean MSDN key and therefore was not authorized to be sold. As Carey mentioned, you should attempt to get a refund.
