Connection problem using the WHS Client RRS feed

  • The computer has lost connection to your home computer. This is a message I get when trying to log on using the WHS client.

    The computer is on and there is network connection. Has been checked using Remote Desktop.

    I recieved a message before this, however I don't rememeber the message because it doesnt occur any longer.

    Does this mean I have to make a reinstall in order to get the client to work?

  • Please clarify what you mean - for me it is still not clear, which system you are using to login to which system?
    Do you try to login to a client PC or to the server?
    Do you refer to the WHS console or do you mean the Remote Access Website to connect to a client PC in your network from here?

    In each case you may check the event viewer on the target machine for errors and warnings in the system log and application log.
