Setting mailbox in Dynamics 365 from another Office 365 instance RRS feed

  • Hi Devs,

    I need to set up a queued mailbox from another Office 365 instance. I just tried using a new Exchange Server (Hybrid) Email Server Profile and providing the server addresses. But the test and enable returns following error:

    An unexpected error occurred while receiving email through the mailbox <mailbox>. The owner of the associated email server profile <Another Exchange Server Online> has been notified. The system will try to receive email again later.
    Email Server Error Code: Web server returned 11 ServerProtocolViolation exception.

    I just set the https://outlook.office365.com/EWS/Exchange.asmx as Incoming and Outgoing Server Location.

    I also tried creating a queued mailbox in my D365 instance and then forwarding emails from another domain's email to my queued mailbox. But the synchronization service didn't pick the forwared email probably because the forwarded email has another domain's email address in the TO field.

    1. Is this something restricted internally by Microsoft Dynamics? 
    2. Can we have any workaround to have another domain (mailbox from another O365) emails in Dynamics 365 instance?
