database query help RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am not sure how to do this.  We have 3 custom fields in the Quote Product entity.  I want to get sums of the fields for all product lines for the quote - exactly how the Quote Total is a sum of all Quote Product line totals.  Some fields may or may not have values.  These values would then populate fields on the Quote form.

Would I use fetchXML in the javascript form On Load event?  Or is there a different/better way to accomplish this?

Also, at one time i had a FetchXML 'cheat sheet' but have recently changed laptops so have lost it.  Does anyone know of good fetchXML tutorial, information sites?

    Thank you!

  • Thank You!  I did see this, but did not know how to use it.  I see example is in C# which is fine, but i though all web resources had to be in java script? I was trying to attach code to page load event.  how would i use the fetchxmlaggregation function as written in C#?
