problem installing msn messsenger!!!! RRS feed

     I am having a problem installing the messenger, when ever i install it it gives me an error INSTALLATION FAILED BECOZ OF PROCESSPR  ARCHITECTURE X86!!! and the installation rolls back.
    Please help me HOW SHOULD I INSTALL THE MESSENGER??
    MY LAPTOP SPECS - ACER FERRARI 1000
    AMD TURION 64X2 MOBILE TECHNOLOGY TL-60
    1 GB RAM, 32 BIT OOPERATING SYSTEM,WINDOWS VISTA ULTIMATE

    You shouldn't need a x64 version of messenger but I think the Windows Live Suite installer used to be incompatible with x64 systems(the actual messenger program wasn't).

    I think I remember having to look for a version of messenger that didn't require the suite installer but I no longer have problems as the problem was fixed.

    This is the wrong forum but Microsoft doesn't seem to have a forum for messenger.

    Are you reporting this in the wrong forum (this is for Live Mesh), or are you reporting this because you think it's related to Live Mesh somehow?

    Do you need a 64-bit version of Messenger (is there even one) for a Turion 64X2 processor??
