  • You shouldn't need a x64 version of messenger but I think the Windows Live Suite installer used to be incompatible with x64 systems(the actual messenger program wasn't).

I think I remember having to look for a version of messenger that didn't require the suite installer but I no longer have problems as the problem was fixed.

This is the wrong forum but Microsoft doesn't seem to have a forum for messenger.

P.S. I pressed propose as answer by accident in attempt to reply.

  • Are you reporting this in the wrong forum (this is for Live Mesh), or are you reporting this because you think it's related to Live Mesh somehow?

Do you need a 64-bit version of Messenger (is there even one) for a Turion 64X2 processor??
