Upgrading to CRM 2015 from CRM 2013 - System Check Error RRS feed

  • When running the server upgrade I get the following error:

       One or more organizations can't be upgraded because the version isn't supported for upgrade.
       Apply the latest Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 Service Pack 1 update rollup, 
       and then use Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 Deployment Manager to update each organization.
       Then, try to upgrade again.

    In CRM through the browser it displays  the following Version

    from Settings options: 6.1.4.145 (DB 6.0.0.809)     
         which is:  CRM 2013 Service Pack 1 Update Rollup 4

    Where is it reading the version from or why is it failing?

  • Looking at the error, it seems that not all the organizations are upgraded to the required version.

    Could you please go to the Deployment Manager and check if any of the organization is not meeting the required version criteria.

  • The deployment Manager was still in the older version  (2011)

    I had to repair the software to get it to version 2013

    All CRM components were in 2013 except for the database.

    I upgraded the database through Deployment Manager and current the Upgrade executable is working
    as I have passed the System Check Error.
