  • Hi Ashish,

For logging purposes Microsoft Speech Server 2007 implements support for <log> element. You can look at http://www.w3.org/TR/voicexml20/#dml5.3.13 for further details and http://www.voicexml.org/platform_certification/microsoft/1152/1152.vxml for specific usage example.

When it comes to equivalent of playLatencyPrompt method then depending on your specific scenario you may be able to use the "fetchaudio" attribute (http://www.w3.org/TR/voicexml20/#dml6.1) to play audio clip while the fetch is done. You can look at test cases 568, 569, 570, 571, 607, 608, and 1170 for fetchaudio usage examples.

Microsoft Speech Server 2007 doesn't implement a custom API accomplishing what executeTask method does.

P.S. A general way to figure out what standard VoiceXML features Microsoft Speech Server 2007 supports is to look at our VoiceXML Certification Test Report at http://www.voicexml.org/platform_certification/microsoft/microsoft_ctr.html.
