Dell optiplex not validating RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a WGA icon at the system tray and when  checked it says

"The windows product key installed on this computer was not assigned by Microsoft"

The machine is a DELL that came with XP Pro preloaded and the product key in use matches the product key at the COA.

    Any available help?

  • First, Use the product key update tool located here, and be especially careful to type everything right:

  • Make sure that everytrhing is typed right!

If it still doesnt work, contact your computer's manufacturer.

If neccesary, contact the anti-piracy hotline.

You can also contact Microsoft's WGA support (1-866-530-6599)
