Opportunities and Rewards
• Top 300* members in the contest (based on ranks) would be evaluated for being “Student Partners” with Microsoft. Within these top 300 members:
      o Top 3 students would each get an XBox 360!
      o Next 10 students would each get a Windows phone!
      o Next 50 would each get 2GB flash drives! - OR Winner may opt for Gift Voucher of Rs. 2000/-.

Guys, The gift vouchers have been removed in leu of the xbox360 and windows phone ;(
a 2GB pendrive is available for around 350--400 Rs. and they are giving gift voucher worth Rs 2,000/-
Is that any justice ?

I already won an xbox360 last time, and I hope if things go on with God's grace, i will be again in top 3, and i have to get another xbox 360. I guess the decision to remove the gift vouchers in exchange of xbox360 and windows phone does not sound good.

There are many in Top 13 who would opt for a gift voucher instead of the gift because with the gift voucher's amount, we can purchase more than what the gift is being given.

I guess the admins should think on this once again, and also please mention where the gift vouchers will be applicable and what all we can purchase using that gift voucher, its ths last month of the competition, and i hope the admins wake up from a long hibernation and start acting.

I too am personally making this post after many months, because seeing the quality of support from the admins in this 2nd edition of the competition, i hardly post here, also many people jsut post here for the sake of spamming, and this place has become a junk and requires proper cleaning.

What say you guys, please raise your voice and let the admins know, and we all hope that the admins support us atleast for the last month of the competition and also stay active during the last month.

I think , now we can take the admin from the hibernaton state to active state.

Really , its very bad news for the student who already won a Xbox in the last editon ( including me )

I request to the admin that plz do some interesting things in the last month of the 2nd edition of SRS. We all student did our best effort to touch ur limit(10000) in 9 months ( too long ) . Some of them did it and some of them not.

So in the end of the month we want some gud news form ur side ( coz u never reply our mails)

Your some of the activites became dead in the mid of DEC.

Your webcast link never updated from 1st Sept 2007()

I attened approx 7-8 webcast ( i hve proof also) , may be u will give me points.

And lastly , many of the student have lots of doubt..... so plz impeliment Live Chat option in the last month.

Hope u read this thread and reply to US...

Hey Rajkumar,

Good to see you too after a long long time, i guess it feels like the first edition of the contest where we ppl are gathering after a long long time

And i like one of your suggesstions about Live Chat Option, i guess the admins should definitly think about that. There is live chat option in devsquare, why not in this acclaimed contest of student rockstar.

I hope to see all my old friends of the first edition of rockstar raise their voice here, and also to the new friends of 2nd edition of rockstar whom i have hardly known too also raise their voice....

Waiting for the admins to do some quick action about the updation of the poinrs, the whitepapers, webcasts, are all dead, start em up, update the points, and also wish that the admins put back the gift voucher option on the xbox360 and windows phone as well.

For the Past 5 months , i just sleept and only 2day i loged in to the forums ., and it's nice to see some are participating besides the contest is dead .

This time i dont think that the final result will be produced . Its very hard to update the results from December . It will take atleast 3 months to update . I'm happy that you guys are speaking about the Prizes ., but i personally think that the Contest is dead ..!!

What u guys think ??

Only one way to wake up the Admin is to rite an ARTICLE in the newspaper wid the title

" How Microsoft employee work in the company"??

or
