CRM 2011 - Sorting of Dialogs in the Lookup Record Screen RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I verified the [On Demand Process] view in the [Process] entity, the sorting is configured on [Process Name] column.

However, when I click on the [Start Dialog], the [Process Name] column is not alphabetically sorted.

    Can anyone advise?

    Appreciated and thanks.

  • Start dialog uses the lookup view named "On Demand Dialog".

If you open the this view, it is actually sorted on process name. But it is behaving accordingly. It is managed view so you can't make the changes either.. It is a bug in the system.

The only option you have is to click on process name column to sort it.

    I hope this helps.

I have noticed this before. You could try adding it to https://connect.microsoft.com/ to give Microsoft visibility of the issue.
