Microsoft Asynchronous service is overloaded with jobs (Workflows, plug-ins, etc) after few days and doesn't process anything. RRS feed

  • I'm unable to identify how after few days workflows are not running and Dynamics CRM 4.0 application becomes very slow to display information. Checked in the event logs there loads of jobs including plug-ins and other jobs are failing with execution context details. I'm then restarting the Microsoft Asynchronous service on each server of Load Balancer which is then killing all jobs and resuming them one by one. Thus my application becomes faster for browsing details and can able to run workflow as well.

    I'm unable to identify where exactly the problem- What is the root cause. Check all event logs and IIS logs but no luck.

    How I'll be able to identify the issue and fix it permanently. This is completely blocker for me and seem be happening in each month.
