  • Hi Brian,

Without violating the NDA i can say that Visual Basic is not an option in the exams for Ofice. The only VBA you might encounter is that created by the macro recorder. In that retrospect you should examin the usbility of the macro recorder. You don't have to program any procedures yourself because the exams are based on user operability meaning no programming involved. Furthermore you are going for a expert exam so you should expect expert questions. Besides the regular options the hard options will be presented as well. Think in areas of xml and reporting and advanced options of charts.

So study those options you would normally not use so often, that will at least set you in the right direction.

I did pass the 2003 expert exam but did not take the 2010 exam yet. The way i prepare for expert exams is to look for th not so obvious options and the advanced options for the various features.
