Windows 7 Passes MSE Validation, Fails XP Mode Validation

Question
-
Hi there,
I've been using a copy of Windows 7 Pro x64 for some time now that I obtained through my MSDN-AA account that I have with ACM (who has then validated my student status via my college). The key activates fine, and I've even had MSE running on it with no issues (and has thus passed Validation). However, when I went to download XP Mode, validation is failing.
The only things I've found through searching online have been reports of illegally obtained or compromised MSDN-AA accounts and that those keys are then blocked by MS directly. However, like I said the key activates and passes the validation test when I install MSE, but not when I try to download XP Mode. And furthermore, my MSDN-AA account is valid and has never been compromised.
Also, my PID is not blacklisted as far as I can tell from the sticky. My PID is 838.
I'm looking for any help or resolution for this as XP Mode is very handy in what I'm doing.- Moved by Darin Smith MS Thursday, April 22, 2010 8:33 PM Office issue moved to Office forum (From:Windows 7 Genuine Advantage Validation Issues (Windows 7))

Your office has a blocked VLK, your windows however appears to be properly activated. Uninstal the office product and reinstall a valid version (you can download the 2010 beta and give that a try). After removing office go to www.microsoft.com/genuine and validate, then try the XP mode again.

Test drive the beta until, you will like it. If you have to buy it, you may as well buy 2010.Thursday, April 22, 2010 2:58 AM
