Genuine windows alert on Genunie Windows XP Pro RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am recieving an alert when I boot up That a copy of Windows XP Pro is not Genuine. The tool I used to determine why was displayed showed the # was reported lost or stolen. This item was purchased from a authorized OEM Distributer and I feel is Genuine and the Distributer assures me it is Genuine. How Do I get this nag screen to reconize my XP PRO is the real thing.I have a COA and original cd and both pass the test as being Genunie. I need some type of solution. Buying another copy is not a reasonalbe offer. I already paid for this one.
