Office Pro 2003 - Invalid Key? RRS feed

  • Question

  •

    I installed Frontpage 2003 first and the Office Update page validates it fine.

    I then installed an OEM version of Office Pro 2003 (purchased with my computer).  Unfortunately at the Office Update page it says the key is invalid.

    Here is the results of the diagnostic tool:

  • Hi Jim - It's the product key that was used to install Office Professional 2003 that is the problem.  Do you have another product key?  Perhaps the one that came with your copy of Office?

    If you only have the product key that is causing this keygen result, you are likely a victim and should fill out the counterfeit report and see if you qualify to receive a complimentary copy of Office.  You can revalidate Office from this link:  http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/office/Validate.aspx?displaylang=en&sGuid=60e6e401-f228-4638-b237-de37767bfb17  - You can review the options available to get genuine and choose the complimentary offer.

    Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,
    Michelle

  • According to your MGA report, you have a non-genuine, Volume License copy of Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 installed.  The Office product key and CD are counterfeit.

    Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 - 108 Invalid VLK

    VLK = Volume License Key
