SyncToy 2.1 - Win 7, 64 bit - How to pause? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there!

Is it possible to pause the backup operation (echo) and continue later?
At the moment, while in operation, I only see the "STOP" button.
I don't want to stop it, just pause. What happens if I press it?

    TIA

I found out myself later, that pressing the button "STOP" stops the process. There is probably no option to pause SyncToy.

  • Hey I saw your comment and know in the past I have used Process Explorer (By Mark Russinovich on Technet) app to actually suspend the process and then I can select the process and select resume when I was ready. Hope that helps
