    I had add the device to my mesh, but I cann't access the device. The Live Mesh web showed"
    This device is synchronizing but cannot be remotely accessed. Check the Live Mesh notifier on the device to see if Live Mesh remote desktop enhancements need to be installed." I have been check the notifier, And the "System notifications" iconSystem notifications dosn't appear on the notifier.

    Why the enhancements are not installed automatically as part of the Live Mesh software? Or why I cann't use Live Mesh remote desktop?

    My system is Widows XP.

    Hi MsMesh,

    Live Mesh does not currently support remote connections through authenticated proxies, but a few people have requested this feature (see, e.g., our Wish List).  I've added your vote for authenticated proxy support to our internal list of suggestions. :)

    What notifications are you getting? I imagine that it isn't part of the notifier because it is local to the client app for Mesh and not something common to the devices on the Mesh.

    You know, I have been installed live mesh on my pc, and add the device to my mesh. But I cann't remote the device, and when I click the "connect to the device" from the live mesh web, I get  the notice of "This device cann't be accessed. Please ensure the Live Mesh remote desktop enhancements are installed on the device".

    And you know, I'm useing the Windows Xp SP2 OS. We have been telled that "If you're running Windows XP, the enhancements are installed automatically as part of the Live Mesh software" by the LIVE HELP. I just cann't find the enhancements have been installed automatically when I run live mesh on my pc.

    Can anyone help me?

    Are you trying to connect through a proxy server? If so, that won't work.

     Ha,Live Mesh would not work if we connect it through a proxy server, then we cann't put the axe in the helve. But Live Mesh is the tool of "here, there, everywhere", we really have not a method to resolve it!

    I like Live Mesh very much. Can Live Mesh Team give us a way to use Live Mesh who connect internet through a proxy server?

    The company I work for has a PROXY server. I can connect remotely to my laptop at work. Why is this working if there is no proxy server support.

    It's an issue with "authenticating proxies" - some require additional usernames/passwords to work properly. Your configuration appears NOT to be this case.
