Server side sync, uninstall or a fix ? RRS feed

  • We have installed Server side Sync on an CRM 2013 Ru2 onsite instance (6.0.2.46).

    But we experience trouble with it, so we would like to go back to the Email Router. The trouble are both attachments that  not are stored in CRM, and different queues that stops without error reporting.

    We would therefore return to the Email router. Reinstalled it.

    But now the Queue item is impossible to edit. Is it because they now are controlled by the mailbox entity? Tried to delete or deactivate mailboxes, but without result.

    Is it impossible to return to Email router when SSS is installed?

    Or better: Is there a fix from Microsoft on the SSS?

  • Can you please elaborate on the error you are facing with SSS? You should look at alerts or CRM server traces for the async service to troubleshoot.

    It is possible to go back to ER after trying out SSS.

    Queue items being disabled should have nothing to do with SSS.
