    I don't know what happened.  I was working on my computer last night and added a user so I could do the "fast switch" and I got on again and my main user name is gone.  The only one there is the new one I created last night.  PLEASE HELP ME.  I have all my documents under that name.

    Try using System Restore to restore your system to a time before your user account disappeared.

    How do I use System Restore and will I lose any of my information?

    Open Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore. Select "Restore my computer to an earlier time". Select a time before the problem occurred. You will not lose any data.
