CRM 4.0 Multiple authentication methods on same deployment

Hi all,

I would like to create a CRM deployment, that will have Windows SSO autentication for some users, and Forms-based Authentication for others.

Is it possible to do it for the same site (all users are from within the company)?

in CRM 4.0 you can set up IFD (Internet Facing Deployment). See this article:

http://rc.crm.dynamics.com/rc/regcont/en_us/OP/articles/ifd_common_issues.aspx

They can all use the same url and internally it will use AD integrated auth and outside it will use forms auth.

Otherwise, if you move to 2011 you can use ADFS 2.0 and use any type of auth you want.
