    Does the CRM source allow you to send a mass email to several individuals allowing the message to look as though it only went to one person?

    Yes, this is quite simple to do via workflow. I wrote a post on how to do it here.

    Yes, using Word Templates or CRM email templates you can craft an email and have CRM fields populate it to individualise (sp?) the content.
