Cannot activate OneCare due to broken link RRS feed

  • Question

  • I cannot activate OneCare using the key mailed to me today, as I cannot find a place to enter it. I have tried clicking "Continue Online" when I am in the subscription window, but that leads to the "Windows Live" main page (get.live.com).

  • See this post regarding Activation redirecting you to a page where you cannot activate, but are presented with a view of available Windows Live Products instead -

If this does not apply to you, then the email you received should have a contact email to report to. You can also obtain help with the beta here:

http://help.live.com/help.aspx?project=onecarev2 -use the "Get More Help" link in the lower right of the page to contact support via email.

  • I've contacted OCBeta.com, or whatever the address is, and they pointed me here, also saying that they could probably not reply to my e-mail individually.

  • Okay, you got an auto-reply then. Try the help link in the meantime. I'm trying to get someone to give advice of what we should be looking at regarding the activation problems some have reported with this wave of beta keys.

  • Actually, I did receive a personl reply from OCBeta pointing me here, saying that they were working on the problem and to make sure that my country was supported by the test (which it is, Canada). I've tried the help link before, and it really didn't offer any other help.

Okay, then. Sorry that I don't have an answer yet, but I have reached out for some assistance.
