Internet explorer 8 not working on WIndows 7 RRS feed

  • Hello,

    When I try to open IE8 it says "cannot connect" my network diagnostic tool will not open. It is giving me error code 0x80070426. IE8 will NOT connect. Firefox works. I downloaded Chrome also and it works. The problem is I prefer IE. Also the bank websites are very sluggish. I have reinstalled the software, reset the router, deleted and restored IE8, Went into advanced options at startup to try commandline,prompts...NOTHING seems to be working.
