  • Question

  • Hi there,

If my request has landed in the wrong forum category and please apologize in advance and ask a moderator to correct it.

I write in the name of 4 ISPs. At this moment over 100 IP ranges are blocked by Outlook and all other Microsoft email services and this is not only limited to us 4 suppliers.

Unfortunately, there has been no feedback on the support form offered by SNDS ( https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/supportrequestform/8ad563e3-288e-2a61-8122-3ba03d6b8d75 ) for 3 days. Furthermore, the SNDS portal only shows that the IPs are blocked, but no reason why.

So here is my request to open a forum area in this section for especially for tested ISPs, where problems can be addressed directly.

Here again the reasons are listed:
    1. SNDS is not directly accessible by phone
    2. inquiries over the offered form, are either not answered or it takes 3-4 days until someone gets back (usually only an automated answer)
    3. SNDS does not give any information about where the problem is located.

I hope this request will be heard, because it is now an untenable state of affairs that complete IP inventories are "only" on Microsoft's blacklist.

    Best regards,
    Dennis

Answers

  • From the very beginning I wanted nothing more than a conversation about whether it is possible to add another category here in this forum.

The MSDN/TechNet forums are closing and migrating discussion to  QnA. You can use the site feedback to make this request.

  • No but thank you.

I already mentioned the first link and with the 2nd address all e-mails and IPs will be answered as follows:

"The IP address in question is not currently blocked in our system" <- but it is!

I didn't open this discussion to post solutions here, but thanks for that, it's more about creating another way to communicate directly with ISPs and SNDS support here in this forum.

Unfortunately, there is no way to talk directly to an expert about these issues.

  • You can also start a case here with product support.

  • From the very beginning I wanted nothing more than a conversation about whether it is possible to add another category here in this forum. A category where ISPs can discuss problems with SNDS support staff or IPS can ask questions directly to SNDS staff.

    Ok. Then just here:

    1. over 100 IP-ranges are affected by a blockade. It is no longer possible to send e-mails to Outlook, Hotmail and all other services offered by Microsoft.

    2. this does not only affect IPs that are in use. Hundreds of IPs that are not in use are also affected by this blockade.

    3) More than 10,000 customers have the problem that no more email can be sent from us and our colleagues to Microsoft.

    4. it is not possible to get an answer via the corresponding support form - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/supportrequestform/8ad563e3-288e-2a61-8122-3ba03d6b8d75 - or also - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/security/office-365-security/use-the-delist-portal-to-remove-yourself-from-the-office-365-blocked-senders-lis?redirectedfrom=MSDN&view=o365-worldwide

    5. help in - https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook_com/forum - is not available. The moderators there, either give the same answers as you or forward us directly to this forum.

    -----
What we need is a direct contact person as soon as there is a problem with SNDS and IPs addresses. From there again -> Is it possible to get a section or category here within this forum where ISPs can communicate directly with SNDS support?
