How to find the "My Places editor" in Bing Maps RRS feed

  • Question

  • Whatever I do and try, I cannot toggle a 'My Places editor' with an 'import' button (to import GPX and KML files). I tried it in Opera, Firefox and Internet Explorer, and what I get when clicking on 'my places' in the menu, never contains an 'import' button nor a 'draw' button.

So I cannot import GPX-files in Bing Maps nor draw a route on a Bing map and then export it.

I would be very grateful to anyone able to help me.

  • Hello,

I'd ask in the Bing Maps forum on Microsoft Community. As the Microsoft Community is on a different platform, we cannot move the question for you.

Once there, click on Participate near the top of the screen, and select 'Ask a Question' or 'Start a Discussion'

  • Hello,

The TechNet Sandbox forum is designed for users to try out the new forums functionality.

As it's off-topic here, I am moving the question to the Where is the forum for... forum.

  • Interesting.  On that forum someone asked about exporting and someone told them that they should post their question here.
