Charm++ running NAMD RRS feed

  • Question

  • I want to run NAMD on my 2008 HPC cluster. How do I get execute the program on all 4 nodes of my supercomputer running Server 2008, and use 4 processors on each node. Thanks, cooldude13

    Also, is there any other way to run NAMD on a windows server 2008 cluster besides charm++?

Answers

  • run

        job submit /numnodes:4 mpiexec -cores 4 your_program.exe

    The above is strictly running on 4 nodes and setting it to use 4 cores each.

    if this is not an MPI program and the processes do not have to execute at the same time, you can simply submit a job for 16 cores,

        job submit /numcores:16 your_program.exe
