It's unlikely that the non-genuine Office would cause this problem - or we'd have seen many more instances.

Did you gat any messages running he fix?  There's no significant change in the report, except that you appear to have now installed the WAT update.

Please check your system date and time - it looks as if there may be a problem with that? Your Time Zone is set to EST?

Try manual validation - http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate see if that works, or gives a clue.

  • Manual Validation did not work, and my system time and date are normal.

  • At this point, the only suggestions I have are to try a System Restore to a past restore port (one from before the issue was noticed) or contact Microsoft assisted support at one of the below URLs:

    North America: http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/cu_sc_genadv_master?ws=support&ws=support#tab4

    Outside North America:
    http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support#tab0

    Thank you,

  • Hi, Similar happening here, was told it was due to service pack 1, though after uninstalling it it still fails authentication. I was given this to try that might help some others though didnt help me.

    Open CMD as an admin

type "slmgr -rearm " press enter.

It should open another window telling you as to whether its been done successfully.

As I say didnt work for me though am awaiting further instruction!

Please repost your own problem to a NEW thread of your own - including the MGADiag report.
To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
    Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.

Hi, Similar happening here, was told it was due to service pack 1, though after uninstalling it it still fails authentication.
