    Hi,

     

    Is there (simple) away to change the organization name after installing crm 4?

    Hi,

    Have you tried using Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Deployment Manager.

    Open the Deployment Manager,
    Go into Organization
    Right click on the organization you want to rename and then click on Disable
    Right click again and choose Edit Organization.
    The Edit Organization Wizard will open. 
    Enter the new Display Name and click next to follow the Wizard. 
    Then Enable the organization

    Note:

    This will allow you to change only the display name of your organization, not the system name.

    No, you can not change the Organization name.  You need to reinstall the application in order to rename the Organization.

    You can change the org name using the steps above. However, before you can edit the name, the organization needs to be disabled. Once the name is edited, you can re-enable it.

    Please note that this will not change the name of your root business unit. Only the Display name of the organisation.
