Direct URL to Account´s contacts in CRM 2011 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there,

    Does anybody know how to get the direct URL for the contacts view (e.g. Contact Associated View) under each Account (let´s say if I provide the GUID in the URL.
    I was thinking about creating an iframe in another project linking to that view.

    Regards,
    Ragnar

  • Hi,

    http://<server>:5555/organizationname/UserDefined/areas.aspx?formid=b053a39a-041a-4356-acef-ddf00182762b&navItemName=Contacts&oId=%7baccountid2B%7d&oType=1&pagemode=iframe&security=852023&tabSet=areaContacts

    Replace Server, Organizationname and accountid from the above url.

    Even you can get this url by following the below steps

    1)Open the Account Record

    2)From the left navigation click on contacts

    3)press F12  and focus on contacts grid

    then in the html you can find this line:

    <iframe width="100%" height="100%" id="areaContactsFrame" src="areas.aspx?formid=b053a39a-041a-4356-acef-ddf00182762b&navItemName=Contacts&oId=%7bCEB2E513-B3DF-E111-A11F-00505697012B%7d&oType=1&pagemode=iframe&security=852023&tabSet=areaContacts" frameBorder="0" scrolling="auto" allowTransparency="allowtransparency" isArea="1">

    I hope this helps. If my response answered your question, please mark the response as an answer and also vote as helpful.
