Can't show "Current License" info in Upgrade and Migration RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I had installed SharePoint Server 2010 Ent and Project Server 2010 successfully that used CAL key from Microsoft.  I'm try check product licenses in Upgrade and Migration, amazing it's blank status. If install SharePoint Server 2010 Ent only (without Project Server 2010), license info still show with Enterprise Client Access License.  After that, I install Project Server 2010 and check it (See pic below). I dont know what happened? Pls help me.

    Thanks very much!

    My current farm server info:

    - Windows Server 2008 R2

    - MS SQL Server 2008 R2

    - MS SharePoint Server 2010 Ent SP1

    - MS Project Server 2010 SP1

    (All product Licensed)

  • Hello Huu Tuan,

    This is expected behavior.

Due to security reason existing product keys will not be displayed. This particular page is to convert your standard license to enterprise license (Enterprise to Standard is not possible).

Actual product key will be stored in the registry in encrypted format.

I hope this clarifies your doubt.

    Thanks,

    Hrishi Deshpande

Thanks Hrishid very much. Your comment made me feel comfortable. I tried check product SKUs in Registry, That's ok.
