Registration for Exam 70-448.

Question
-
Hi everyone,
I was wondering when the registration for exam 70-448 is expected to end.
I am seeing in Prometric that the latest exams available to schedule are end of July.
Does this mean there won't be exam 70-448 offered after July 2012?I hope they continue to offer this until next year.... which is when its expected to'retire'. :(
THansk!

This is from the Prometric Available Exam Dates booking page:
The selected appointment duration is 03:30 hours. Select an available Date and Time, then click Next. Exam must be scheduled at least 24-hours in advance and no more than 8 weeks ahead. For same day testing, please contact the test site directly.

As far as I can tell, 70-448 is not yet scheduled to expire, at least it does not appear in the list of retiring exams:
http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/cert-lifecycle.aspx#tab2
Have you tried more than one test center in Prometric? Perhaps you tried to schedule the exam at a center that closes in August, and that is why you didn't see any available date later than July.

I did try several of the exam centres, but all of them didn't have exams available after July... which concerned me....
I would believe that exam 70-448 would still be available until beginning of next year, since its not part of the 'to-be' retired exams til Jan 2013(as available in the link you've provided)?

According to this site http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/cert-sql-server.aspx, exams will retire at the end of July 1013
A. You will continue to earn an MCTS for Exam 70-432 and exam 70-448 until July 2013. At that point, the MCTS certifications for all SQL Server 2008 exams will be discontinued.
I had forgotten about the information I provided on my blog post.
I will confirm retirement dates with Microsoft and update this thread (and my blog) when I get confirmation.

That's because there's a "," at the end of the link. It has been updated.
