uTorrent installed together with uTorrent addin, CPU hungry? RRS feed

    After testing out my server running uTorrent and trying to download a torrent, it eats all the CPU in there and makes the server very sluggish and slow.... Is it correct the uTorrent should eat alot of CPU?

    Runs on a AMD XP 2200+ with 768Mb RAM.. would think it should be enough to run a simple program such as uTorrent.. Just by stopping the task in uTorrent makes the CPU go down to a comfortable 4-5% load..

    Hi Lars,
    since this is not a WHS component, you may wish to ask the maker of this program or use his support sites.
    But since the CPU not even is a dual core CPU, there is a good chance, that a single program can overload the available capacity.
