CRM 2011 AX 2009 integration via DLL RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear All,

We have plan to integrate CRM and Ax integration via DLL, our scenario is we want to develop a dll in .net and that i give it to AX team, so in that dll i pass the parameters, so that they can insert values into ax tables. Same way they will create one dll and pass the parameters, from that i need to insert record into the CRM table.

Please clarify it is possible, if yes suggest me how to do.

Thanks & Regards, MS CRM Consultant, V.Surya.

  • Hello,

What I can suggest - you should take VS and write what you want. But from my point of view in the case you should suggest your company or customer to buy already developed and tested slution like Scribe.

  • In addition to Andriy's suggestion, have you considered Connector for Microsoft Dynamics? The Connector can manage some typical integration scenarios between CRM and Dynamics ERP.

  • You can read more about the connector on their blog - http://blogs.msdn.com/b/dynamicsconnector/  if you download the SDK it has some examples of the common maps that are already included

Another option you may consider is CozyRoc SSIS+ library. It is a third-party library for SQL Server Integration Services. The library already includes adapters for Dynamics CRM and Dynamics AX.
