Attachment Button is not visible RRS feed

  • Hi,

    When users creating Cases attachment button is not there, even after they save the case.

    Please help.

    do they have the permission 'append' for note and 'append to' for incident?

  • hi,

    check the role of that user and make sure it has appendto on Case(under service tab) and the Note has append permission on Core Records  tab.

    make sure these two things and you will get attachement image button as well as the attachfile option on tha actions menu.

    'Attachment' doesn't appear as a button on case form itself, it's the thrid option under the Actions menu.

  • It doesn't appear... There may be some privilege issue... It comes for the admin Account.

    Cannot figure it out which one effects the attachment permission.

  • Check to see if you have the Write privilege for the Case entity in the users security role

  • first check the permission(role) given to the user.

    does he has the write permision to it?

    else may be some custome code has been written to disable for the user.

    No Customer Code... They have write permission for cases.

  • is that the issue for all the users or specific.

    if its for only to that user try to assign him a role for which its coming.

    let me know.
