  • Question

  • Windows 7 has decided that my brand new, sealed, retail boxed edition of Home Premium that has only ever been installed once and on one PC is no longer genuine.

It started with the warning popup 'you may be running counterfeit software'. I ran the WGA checker and it's still convinced my copy of windows is pirated.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

    1) You’re in the wrong forum – this one is for win XP WGA  problems.
    2) you need to post a in MGADiag report in the proper forum

To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
    Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.
