How ro Sync two Sql Server Database RRS feed

  • I want to Sync My Local Server Database and Remote Server Database both are Sql Server 2008 databases. How can i do this using vb.net and Sync Framework.

    Please Help

  • check out the tutorial here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff928700(v=SQL.110).aspx (this same tutorial is actually in the documentation that gets installed with the framework)

    that should work with Sql Server on both sides.

  • I have seen the first tutorial suggested by you but Its for syncing With Express Edition and codes are in C#. The Local Server Database I m using is Developer Edition and Remote Server Database is Standard Edition.

    I m a beginner and this tutorial is quite complicated for me. Can you give me a simple tutorial  Which has code example in vb.

  • The SqlSyncProvider will work against SQL Express/SQL Server/SQL Azure.

    You can find tons of online tools to convert the C# code to VB.NET.
