    My subscription to Windows Live OneCare expired this month.  I purchased a new version of W L OC at Staples.  Do I have to uninstall the expired version befor I install the new one?

    No, you don't have to uninstall One Care. Open One Care, select "Renew" and when you reach the payment page select"Pre-paid PIN or Token" as the method of payment. Enter the 25 character product key included with the retail CD and your subscription will renew. It may take a day or so for your subscription status to update in One Care.
