I need GenuineCheck.exe for Vista RRS feed

  • Question

  •

I don't have an internet access. So I need to download updates from another computers with internet. You know I need to validate my copy of Vista. But the computer I use for downloading updates uses WinXP and it's not valid i think. So I decided to use alternative way of validation and downloaded GenuineCheck.exe. I get it to my PC, but it said: This isn't for Vista.

So I need a GenuineCheck.exe for Vista to get the code and go on downloading updates. How can I get GenuineCheck.exe for Vista on a computer which uses WinXP?

  • The only way to install the WGA file is via the internet.  It must communicate with the WGA server in order to check and validate the product key.

  • So, you're basically saying that we're screwed if we have a Vista computer that we cannot connect to the Internet. It just remains unpatched.
