CRM 2015 on premise email tracking RRS feed

  • We have begun to notice that emails auto tracked by outlook are showing up on accounts we would not expect them to show up on. The email itself is set to regarding a case. The account we are seeing this email on is not related to the case or the account that the case is tied to. This secondary account that contains the emails does have a contact that is listed on the email thread. My question is do emails attached to contacts rollup to the accounts that the contacts are associated to in the activities panel? If so is there a way to stop this from happening?
