Status of activated workflow changes to "Draft" automatically in MS CRM 2011 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I am not sure of whether this is happening automaticallly or unknowingly, but it had happened twice in our system.

The status of workflow gets changed fom "active" to "draft".

If it is to happen automatically, what all will be the scenarios under which this must have happened?

  • In addition to import process,

It can also happen if you assigned it to some other user.

When you do it, new assigned owner needs to activate those workflows.

  • Hi,

    Thanks for the reply.

Hope it had happened only in such a situtation as you have mentioned.

  • Hi Praveena

If you want to prevent this scenario. Log in with user account "which needs to be new owner" (should have privilege to assign workflows, I prefer keeping workflows assigned to an admin account).

Then click assign, and "assign workflow to me". This prevents workflows to going in Draft status.
