Hi!
Each time I start Windows, I see these 2 messages 24 times in the event log:
OneCare Firewall failed while executing the following method: DeleteSingleInstance. Error Code: 0x8007007A, Error Message: The data area passed to a system call is too small.
OneCare Firewall failed while executing the following method: DeleteSingleInstance. Error Code: 0x80070490, Error Message: Element not found.
Do you get these 2 same messages?
Thanks!

This error message is logged by mistake. This is benign and we would be removing it in next refreshWednesday, July 18, 2007 6:52 AM

There have been a few other reports in the forum about this. I'm going to move your thread to the Firewall folder. I don't know what it means, but we'll await comment from the OneCare team, perhaps.

Hi!
Today, we have a new refresh of WLOC2.
And, good news, I no longer see the 2 messages.
But, I see this new one 10 times during logon:
OneCare Firewall failed while executing the following method: GetPolicy. Error Code: 0x8007007A, Error Message: The data area passed to a system call is too small.
.Merci beaucoup et bonne journée!

Ah, beta testing - one step forward and one step back. :-) Better than 2 steps back, at least.
