xp pro suddenly apears on laptop RRS feed

    hello my laptop went from xp home to xp pro somehow by itself. Now windows shuts down automatically. System restore does not fix problem, I read this happened to someone else too, was there a solution. ( no one else has access to this laptop, I suspect a microsoft auto download caused this) any ideas?

    Hello yukon1,

      As I mentioned in your other thread these forums are for the support of Windows Genuine Advantage Validation issues. Your post does not appear to a be Vista Activation or Validation related. Are you receiveing any Non-Genuine or Not Activated related messages?

      If you are, please follow Dan's advice.
