Screensavers- are they doing something I don't know??

  Hello everyone,

  I recently downloaded a screensaver and quiet frequently I found that the 'disc access' light on my laptop glowing when the screensaver runs........... Could it be because of some malware or spying thing the screensaver is doing while it is running and submitting it some third party?I really like that screensaver and at the same time I am also worried about this.......

  The norton antivirus also didn't seem to find a problem with the screensaver setup.exe

  Or could this be because of the background tasks norton is doing??
