Code block RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I'm a moderator in the german Powershell forum, in which (naturally) most of the posts have a code-block.

I know this has been posted before, but the way it works at the moment is anything but good:

    - Sometimes, seemingly randomly, HTML-like tags get included in the Code (like <br> or <pre>). While this may be just a minor annoyance for the Pro, beginners often get confused, because they dont always see that these tags are not part of the code-example or solution someone gave them.

    - You can't edit a code block afterwards, because the formatting gets totally messed up. You need to copy the code before editing, delete the code block, insert a new codeblock and then make your changes. If you have to do that a few times a day, well, lets say its ...suboptimal .

It would be great if you guys could do something about it.

    Thanks, Denniver

  • I agree, the code editor is amateurish compared to other products available and needs improvement
