Windows 2003 Server standard edition RRS feed

  • Control Panel > administrative tools > computer management > system tools >

    Where can i find the user name , group name add/ edit ? its not listed where i am working now, i am loged in as administrator also. Please kindly let me know.

  • For questions about Windows Server (all versions other that Windows Home Server) please use the Windows Server forums .

  • This is Windows HOME Server forums, not 2003 server.

    Having said that, if the server is setup as a domain controller the local users and groups snap-in is not available. You should manage users using the active directory users and computers snap-in. To manage "local"  users you can do Start, Run, type control userpasswords2 and hit enter.

    PLEASE NOTE: Unless you really know what you're doing better stay clear of this. It's very easy to mess up your server.
