  Can someone suggest a good book for ADO.NET? What all technologies do i need to know for 70-536?. The detailed list is confusing for me.

  
  Note that 70-536 does *NOT* cover ADO.NET. This exam deals with other Framework libraries, but ADO.NET is not included; instead, there are separate exams about ADO.NET, such as 70-561 if you are aiming for a certification on Visual studio 2008.

  If you want a book that covers 70-536, I suggest the Self-Paced Training Kit:
