Change Screen Resolution on HP WHS RRS feed

  • Question

  • When I use remote desktop connection to connect to HP WHS the screen resolution is at 1920x1200 and that is the only option under settings for display properties. My screen is not that large requiring me to constantly pan. Is it possible to lower this screen resoution? The Advanced button is grayed out on the Settings tab of the display properties dialog.

  • (Reminder: connecting to your server via Remote Desktop is an unsupported access method.)

That said, when you start the Remote Desktop client, click on Options>>, then on the Display tab. Set your screen resolution there. You can save a separate profile for your server if you like.

I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)
