Windows security credentials pops up when making CRM service call RRS feed

  • Hi Friends,

    Please help here.

    I'm calling CRM service from the C# code. Every time it popups the Windows security credentials dialog for username and password?

    It is happening on the line service.Create method call.

    I have made service initialization where user credentials are already specified.

    Below is the popup i'm getting when the service is called.

    Please double check the username and password used in the code to connect to CRM web service. Hope there is no typing error or password has not expired/changed.

  • How many times it asks ?

    Means when u type ur credentials here, is it processed or generate any error ?

  • Hi, Thanks for the reply:)

    It asks only one time since I'm selecting the remember my credentials check box.

    It process the credentials and gives the result back for the service method.

    Earlier I was not getting this popup. Now only facing this issue.

  • Check the Credential you have used in code.

    Additionally see if you are using Windows Credentials then set that by going to Control Panel->Credential Manager.
