    I already have a Windows Live account using my Windows Passport ID that I've had for years. When I sign into Live it says I have no inbox and wants me to sign up for an account. However, you can only sign up using an @Hotmail or @Live address. My address  is an @SDSU.EDU address and so I sign up for an @Live address, but it doesn't show up when I sign in to my Live account. How can I link an @Live e-mail address to my account? I don't want to change my already existing account as it is used for TechNet and a number of other sites here.

    Everything else in Live works using that account except the InBox.
